Robert J. Friedlander, Jr, MD
As a medical oncologist and then palliative care physician, Bob always tried to center his clinical and research roles around the human connections between patients, family members and physicians.
Bob's long-standing passion for active listening, personal narratives, community organizing and working with diverse populations has now prompted him to coordinate this new grassroots and nonpartisan advocacy group, Healthcare Voices of NH.
For the past 17 years, Emily has been responsible for communications and grant-writing at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Hampshire, helping grow the organization's budget and membership by 800%.
Having witnessed the power of personal stories to inspire action, she is delighted to volunteer some of her time to establish Healthcare Voices of New Hampshire.
Emily holds a BA from Hamilton College and a MA from Georgetown University, both in English Literature.
